Dr. Melissa Jones
Dr. Melissa Jones is an assistant professor in the Clinical Psychology program in the Psychology Department at BYU. Dr. Jones graduated with a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Maryland in 2005 and then worked as a therapist in BYU's Counseling and Psychological Services and in Private Practice for 10 years before joining in the faculty of the Psychology Department at BYU. Her research interests include psychotherapy process and outcome, women's career issues, and understanding, preventing, and treating sexual assault.
Dr. Russ Bailey
Dr. Russ Bailey is an Associate Clinical Professor at BYU Counseling & Psychological Services, where he has held his position since 2013. He completed his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at BYU in 2010, with Dr. Mike Lambert as his dissertation chair. As an active therapist, most of his research questions involve psychotherapy, including questions about therapy outcome, process, common factors in therapy, service delivery, therapist effects, extratherapeutic change, and assessment. He is an Arizona native, family man, and a soccer nut who loves reading and running.

Sheilagh Fox
Sheilagh is a 4th year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program. She is currently works as a therapist at BYU Counseling and Psychological Services. Her research interests include psychotherapy outcome research and philosophy of psychology. Her non-academic interests include campfires, the Harry Potter series, and baby animals.
Eric Ghelf

Eric Ghelfi is a 4th-year clinical psych graduate student working with Melissa Jones. His research explores the experience of deteriorators in psychotherapy. Clinically, he enjoys working with young adults, especially those going through life transitions. In his free time, you might find him scampering around the Wasatch range.

Lisa Scott
Lisa is a doctoral student studying Counseling Psychology at BYU. Her research interests include the impact of systematic oppression on mental health and the philosophy of psychology. In addition to research, she teaches the course "Women's Issues in Career Exploration" and works as a therapist at BYU Counseling and Psychological Services. Her non-academic interests include nature, soccer, and traveling.

Rowan Ashton
Rowan is a psych undergrad from Ohio, minoring in history and Spanish. He likes to read, sketch, hike, climb, camp, and do archery and martial arts (boxing, BJJ and Muay Thai). Rowan wants to do counseling psych as a therapist and researcher after graduate school.
Erica Bennett
Erica Bennett is a senior studying psychology and statistics. She hopes to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology, and one day provide treatment for those in the court system. Erica loves petting puppies, climbing mountains, and keeping up with politics.
Vernie DeMille
Vernie DeMille is a 30 year senior, non-traditional psychology major. A wife, mother of 4, farmer, and massage therapist she hopes to combine her interests and eventually work in the field of ecotherapy. Vernie is an author, public speaker, and poet.
Hannah Erickson
Hannah is a senior studying psychology at BYU. She hopes to go on to graduate school in clinical psychology and eventually become a licensed psychologist. In her spare time, you can normally find her playing the piano, running, or watching romantic comedies.
Kellsie Giras
Kellsie Giras is a senior who is majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology. Her future goals include graduating with a PhD in Clinical Psychology, eventually joining a practice in Utah, and building a small library in her house. Most importantly, Kellsie grew up in New Mexico and firmly believes that New Mexico grows superior green chile, despite Colorado's claims.
Ty Johnson
Ty is a senior majoring in Psychology who hopes to become a clinical or counseling psychologist and conduct research on altruism and meaning in life. He grew up in a military family and has lived in Japan, Texas, Tennessee, and California. He loves food, running (so he can eat more food), and all types of movies.
Elizabeth Kenning
Elizabeth Kenning is a senior psychology undergraduate at Brigham Young University. She is applying to the S. J. Quincy College of Law in the fall and hopes to be accepted and begin work on her J.D. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her dog and taking long naps.
